Everything on the home page homes in on essays, yet when you access the drop-down box on the type of paper, the whole list is available and runs from essays to theses and everything in between. The range of services covers everything an academic provider should offer. Something we like about the site is the page dedicated to their writers and how they choose them – it’s nice to know a bit about the people who are going to be writing your paper.

Prices

Prices are prominently displayed on the front page so it is easy to base your decision on cost if that is your driving factor. However, there is a claim on the home page that you can order custom essays from $7 a page. There is no evidence of this in the pricing table.  Prices are at the low end of the writing industry – a high school essay with a 14-day deadline costs $10 per page and a doctoral level essay $27 per page. Commonly, prices increase with shorter deadlines and the shortest deadline handled is one day. There is no mega urgent 3-hour deadline service and the cheapest prices are quoted for deadlines of one month. Payment can be made in eight different currencies.

Discounts

Because of the lower scale of pricing, it is not surprising that you won’t find Do My Essay discount codes. There is no customer loyalty program so it seems they rely solely on low prices for repeat custom.

Quality

We ordered a four page undergraduate essay with a deadline of 48 hours at a cost of $88. The paper was delivered two hours before the deadline. It was well formatted with good references and resources. The introduction was very convincing. However, the body of the work meandered a little and didn’t present as cohesive an argument as the intro suggested. Some of the syntax was a little off and there were errors (there, their and they’re) that suggested a computer spellchecker had been used rather than a human read through. Overall we would have given it a score of 6/10.

Customer Support

Perhaps one of the strengths of this company is their customer support. They have toll-free numbers for the UK as well as the US and Canada. In addition, they offer live chat and email contact, and clearly state the operating hours of live chat and phone support.

Conclusion

The main point of contention is that despite the home page and the name, the company provides a very wide range of academic writing services but you have to look to find them. One area where domyessays.com wins over other sites we have reviewed is that at least the testimonials are up to date. Only recent ones are shown.
